Full Throttle on board for Northern Regions Motorcycle Circuit Racing!

Northern Regions Motorcycle Circuit Racing and Full Throttle are delighted to announce the confirmation of a sponsorship deal for 2012. Full Throttle will be the headline sponsor and the hugely popular Northern Regions motorcycle circuit racing series will be rebranded as Full Throttle Motorcycle Circuit Racing (presented by Northern Regions Racing).

Full Throttle`s support will be invaluable in further growing the racing and creating tomorrow`s champions”, said Adrian Scholtz, Motorsport South Africa`s Motorcycle Racing Commission President.

Sean Rosenberg, CEO of Full Throttle, says: “It gives us great pleasure to support and give back to the very fraternities that helped us become Africa’s biggest motorcycle accessory chain store. I feel it is our responsibility to encourage growth and development throughout all facets of motorcycling. Over the past four years we have supported Motocross, Enduro, Supermoto, club racing and fun days. We are now incredibly excited to be involved with the Regional Motorcycle Circuit Championship and I really hope to do our part in growing it from strength to strength.”In terms of Full Throttle’s commitment to Northern Regions Motorcycle Circuit Racing, the regional championship series will receive television coverage.

Christo Reeders, Chairman of the Northern Regions Sub Committee for motorcycle circuit racing (NRSC), says the generous sponsorship will make it possible for the NRSC to reduce the cost of racing in a climate where all other costs are increasing. “We anticipate being able to offer two day’s racing in 2012 for under a thousand rand, apart from further reducing second entries from families. The Full Throttle sponsorship is an endorsement of the positive direction in which Northern Regions racing has developed during the past few years and its associated marketability. We look forward to developing the relationship with Full Throttle to enhance their public exposure as the premier provider of racing- and rider apparel in return for the confidence which they have placed in Northern Regions motorcycle racing. The synergy is self-evident and we believe that this partnership will further serve to develop the initiative as the premier motorcycle circuit racing showcase.”

In keeping with MSA Board of Directors directives to grow spectator interest, the marketing teams of Full Throttle and the NRSC have plans and initiatives moving into 2012 which they believe will directly increase spectator awareness, interest and participation at circuit racing events.
