Rider Profiles | Dani Pedrosa

Dani Pedrosa, yet another Spanish-born racer, grew up in the village of Castellar del Vallès near Sabadell. Pedrosa was a little boy of four when he first began riding bikes, making it easy to understand how he was able to achieve the title as one of the youngest world champions in the 250cc Grand Prix.

Today Pedrosa is without a doubt still one of the most impressive riders….although he has obviously moved up in the world of bikes in comparison with his first Italjet 50. In 2009 Pedrosa made the move to the 990cc MotoGP bikes riding for the Repsol Honda team, with numerous remarking that his tiny stature was not going to be able to handle this size of bike.

Needless to say that since then he has proven that he is more than able to handle this size of engine, and as his bike number 26 moves along the track, this Grand Prix motorcycle racer is still proving that dynamite comes in small packages.
